My Two Hobbies

My two favourite hobbies are collecting games and magazines, mainly I've collected games since I was 4 years old, I'm sure my "games" hobby is my favourite one since I'm still collecting videogames and enjoying what I do, I'll continue with this hobby for really long. About the magazines, it started when I was 6 but since 2 years ago I don't buy them anymore... I guess it's something to do with my age. The main reason I still continue videogames but I don't collect magazines anymore is cause' I still enjoy collecting them.
So my main "opinion" about hobbies is "Only do it for fun". If you don't enjoy doing something, then just stop doing it, it was fun before and you should let it stay in the past.

How to Plan the Perfect Party

To plan the perfect party you must have time, be organized and considered, so you must start planning this one week before the party. When you have already planned what to buy, who to invite and everything that will be requiered, you should start making everything, call everyone and make sure they will go. After that make a cake (2 days before the party), when you have it ready wait until the next day and decorate everything you need, from the gifts, to prepare your clothes for the party and find the perfect place to put the cake. The just wait until the party day and make your friend a big surprise.

Subject: Sports Competition

Dear Juancri,
I'm taking part in a sports competition this saturday :D! Maybe it doesn't sound that interesting but the prize is meeting a famous sports star! The rules are mainly the same as always, since this is a running competition.
I hope I win, since I've always dreamed of knowing Gerry Rogers, the national baseball star so I hope that I win, and thats mainly why I'm starting to train today, 2 hrs a week.

The "Best" Party Ever

We were waiting, preparing and working hard to get the party started, we had 2 hrs. before he came home, 2 hrs. to finish everything we were doing and there was a lot to do. When he came home we had everything done except the birthday cake, WE FORGOT IT!
I tried to look for a solution and fnally bought a cake in the nearest bakery. I got back home with the cake 30 min later than expected, i thought he was going to be angry or sad because of not having a good party, but after all, he was happy because of our effort and meaning.

Leisure Centre Problems

What I don't like: where it is located, I think it is hard for people to park their cars near the place.
More Problems: The design of the building doesn't fit how everythng is arranged on the inside.
How this can be fixed/improved: You can improve this by rearraging everything on the inside and making a special place t park everything going into the centre.

Lican Ray, a Place to Live

Lican Ray is a small town in the south of Chile, to the east of Valdivia. It's surrounded by nature and the beautiful Calafquen lake.
The habitants are mainly people who live from animals and farming. They are friendly and really hard workers.
Near the town there is the "Villarica" volcano which you can visit to either ski or make a trip.
I would love to visit this town again mainly because I love skiing in the Villarica volcano.

Task 1 Number 5 Re-written

Dear Lucas:
I heard you want to be a television presenter, and that's why i'm writing this letter to you.
In my opinion it's a little hard to be a T.V presenter, mainly because you will be talking in front of thousands of people which can make you a little nervous. You need to have personality, so that you don't get blank in Mid - Show.
You could find difficulties in what to say, what I mean is that you could probably don't know what to talk about. Even with what I just said I'm sure that if you train hard enough you will be succesful.

Sincerely,

Dear Lucas:
I heard you want to be a television presenter, and that's why i'm writing a letter to you.
In my opinion it's a little hard to be a television presenter cause' you will be talking in front of thousands of people, which makes you a little nervous.
You need to have personality, so that you don't have any problems with nervousness and stuff like that.
You could find difficulties in what to say, what I mean by this is that you could probably don't know what to say at some times but I'm sure that if you really want to be a television presenter and train hard enough you will be successful in your job.

Proposal

At the mackay school, only in the sport class you can use sport equipment provided by the school, children (13-14 years) dont use the school gym and they only play like 3 types of sports
we want to prevent the machay school students from getting a sedentary life, by giving them more options to exercise.
Our proposal doesnt include families a lot, it is for the students.
Students at the mackay school should get access to the gym, to new equipment for ports, and let students use sport equipment from the schooll mackay during break.
We want children to have access to gym so they can exercise at school gym, that we can get sport equipment during break and equipment for new types of sports.
One of the problems would be to convince the school so they could give us everything, also the school would need someone watching people at the gym, so they don't get injured, etc.
We will send a letter to the headmaster asking for this changes, if he doesnt accept we will make this bigger and bring even parents on it, we will ask them for help, and we will try everything to do make this possible.
Students would get much more opportunities to exercise during break at school besides the sports class.

Exercise Facilities and benefits
Source: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/exercise/HQ01676
Exercise gives you a lot of good benefits, you need some facilities like places or machines to do exercise.

There are a lot of facilities in Chile, some are somehow expensive but if you search for a while you will always find a good, cheap place in where you can do exercise (still more expensive places are better).

In the other hand, we have benefits, exercise can bring you tons of benefits, specially for health. So here is a list of  some of the benefits before I go deeper one by one:
1.-Controls Weight.
2.-Combats Diseases.
3.-Boosts Energy

Control Weight: Exercise helps you maintain a good weight level, it burns calories and it works out muscles.
Combats Diseases: Exercise makes the heart pump faster, which is very good for your health.
Boosts Energy: Regular Physical activity strenghts your muscles and boost your endurance.

In conclusion, Exercise is very good for your body, you need the facilities, which can be a private/public gym or outdoors. The more exercise you do, the healthier you are, exercise helps on a lot of stuff, specially heart diseases.

Sharing School Facilities

Access to the gym and sports equipment

Everyone needs a safe , acessible and comfortable place to do exercise in order to mantain a healthy life.
Despite this there are many communities/people who do not have these places.
In my opinion every town mayor should make sure that his/her citizens have a good exercise place.
Also not everyone likes the same type of exercise so you would need different places such as:
Sports Fields, gym, playgrounds, parks, outdoor tracks, public pools, etc.

Also, there are some things you need to take caution with, such as security equipment.
There is a poll that shows us that 98% of people are able to use the playground while 46% can use the basketball court. Well, so most of the people / kids are forced to just use the playground.
Well, most of the people also said that they prefer outdoor exercise and they would like a special place like an exercise park.

In order to have that special place you need the spce, which can be found but that doesn't solve the problems in schools.

There was a project made in Kentucky schools which had several goals which were:
1.- To learn if schools have shared-use agreements;
2.- To understand types of agreements schools have;
3.- To make the best place so that children can exercise;
4.- To encourage kids to do more exercise.

The 4th goal / statement is one of the hardest since most of the people are lazy now a days, so they prefer doing other stuff like playing instead of sports. In my opinion, the best way to encourage kids to do exercise is to play "sports games", in where they exercise as they have fun.
Also, the equipment is not only necessary for "outside school" exercise, many schools don't have a gym or a place to do exercise so they last and only chance is to use the playground.

In conclusion, there are many problems in people's exercise places but also, there are many solutions. For most of the cases the answer is easy, to make it not so much but there will always be a solution into finding where to build and buying more equipment.

3.-It's the volleyball, soccer and basketball court. You can also use it as a normal sports gym.
4.- Sebastian Irusta doing exercise on the rugby / soccer field.
5.-The multi- field, in here you can play many things either in break or in sports class.
